APCOA Takes Over Parking Management at Domäne Monrepos in Ludwigsburg

APCOA Germany will take over parking management at Dome Monrepos in Ludwigsburg on August 1, 2026. On behalf of the Court Chamber of the House of Württemberg, the company is introducing a digital parking system with automatic number plate recognition (ANPR). The aim is to efficiently control parking traffic, relieve the infrastructure and ensure the accessibility of the domain in the long term.

The new parking concept enables barrier-free parking through automatic number plate recognition when entering and exiting. Payment is made digitally and cashless. The parking fees are staggered and amount to a maximum of five euros per day. Discounted or free parking is provided for users of the facilities on the core domain, including the Herzog von Württemberg winery, the golf course, the restaurants and the hotel.

The introduction of the new system is intended to better direct visitor flows, keep escape routes clear and use the available space more efficiently. The operational implementation of parking management is carried out by Park & Control, a subsidiary of APCOA and a specialist in digital parking solutions. At the same time, the concept supports the long-term preservation of the infrastructure on the site.

The approximately 120-hectare Monrepos domain is one of the most important historical parks and cultural landscapes in Baden-Württemberg. The listed area with castle, winery, golf course, gastronomy and hotel is one of the most important local recreation destinations in the greater Stuttgart area.

Six public charging points for electric vehicles are already available on the site. The new parking concept integrates the existing charging infrastructure and thus strengthens sustainable mobility services at the location.
