MED CAMPUS (Medical University Graz) is Using Digital Parking Management by Arivo

A modern building must have a state-of-the-art parking management solution, which makes access easy for all users. The existing 113 parking spaces located at one level and access to the pathology are mostly used by employees of the Medical University Graz and the on-call service.

No additional trigger (loop-detectors) is needed for the parking system because it can recognize license plates within milliseconds to trigger the opening of the parking barrier. The car can access and leave the parking lot easily. The parking software and one camera are the only things needed for the system.

 “For our MED CAMPUS it was essential to be able to have flexible parking permissions for employees and on-call service and to have the parking lot utilization constantly under control. Arivo is a flexible project partner and the system runs reliably since October 2018”, Bernd Hubic, OE Med Campus: Construction and Management says. “The next challenge will be seen after the second construction phase. Then even more users will have the chance to apply for a parking lot. At an second level additional 140 parking lots will be built at the campus of the Medical University. The advantage of a digital parking system is that the new requirements will be quickly and efficiently implemented.”

The MED CAMPUS of the Medical University Graz offers space for approximately 1.200 medical, dentistry and health- and nursing-science students and about 840 employees of the University in an overall area of 40.000m.
