The ASAN GK software analyzes the video stream, recognizes the license plates, then checks with its database whether a vehicle gets access or not. In addition to automatic gate control, the integrated combination of ASAN GK and the parking management system (SKIDATA APT450), also bring other parking improving functionalities and future options such as vehicle positioning based on the License Plate. The complete system has been installed by ASANs Swedish system integrator Swarco Sweden AB and, taken into public use in October 2006.

This deal is of great important for us, not only because our system was selected to a world-class and well known target, but also because it increases our reference base of installed solutions in Sweden together with Swarco. I see a great potential for our parking solutions on the Scandinavian market says Account Manager Christian Segersven.
