Automated Valet completes large installation project in New Zealand

Plantation, Fla. May 2011 The installation of the AVPM operating system at a valet facility in New Zealand is a major milestone for Automated Valet. The process involved creating customized technology for the user and joining forces with New Zealand-based Automated Solutions. Automated Valet provided the award-winning technology and remote system initialization while Automated Solutions completed the installation and offered local support.

Automated Valets Bluetooth technology and Virtual Data Entry processing are part of the package making entry and exit take just a few seconds. Valet staff members use the Bluetooth scanners to gather customer and vehicle information including pre-existing vehicle damages all in just a few seconds.

In addition, the operation will offer customers integrated radio frequency identification cards that make vehicle requests quick and easy. Email for vehicle requests is also available to customers.

People smile when they see their cars waiting for them, says Ken Gulec, Automated Valet CEO and Founder. They dont really expect it, so when it happens they are surprised and happy.

Gulec says introducing AVPM to the parking industry in New Zealand is a significant step for his company. This installation marks progress in several areas. It has stretched Automated Valets reach in the business of valet parking technology and created a relationship with a worthy collaborator.

Andrew Walker, General Manager of Automated Solutions, says he is looking forward to future projects with Automated Valet. Automated Solutions serves a small market and measures its success by its long-term business relationships. Its clients are looking for the most current technology and have high standards for customer service.

The client is happy and the system is working well, he says. Automated Valet has been very good to work with and the support is very good. Given that we are half a world away and we have been able to install and commission a system without onsite training speaks volumes for the level of online support provided.

Gulec says his companys business plan is to become the standard for the valet industry in the United States and around the world and it is working hard to reach that goal.

No matter where the system will be used, whether its across the street or across the ocean, we make it work and it works, Gulec says. Our support team worked around the clock to finalize the set up, and the client and our partner, Automated Solutions - are happy with the result.
