Billings Airport Introduces Ticketless Parking
Billings Logan International Airport will launch a ticketless parking system on July 21, replacing paper tickets with a digital payment process.
Drivers entering the airport’s parking facilities can scan a QR code and access the Metropolis web application. First-time users will be asked to provide their phone number, license plate details and preferred payment method. Registered vehicles will then be recognized automatically, allowing drivers to enter and leave with fewer stops.
The airport expects the system to reduce congestion, particularly at exit gates where motorists previously had to stop and complete payment. Existing parking rates will remain unchanged.
Travelers who prefer not to use the digital service will still be able to pay by cash or credit card at an on-site kiosk. Billings Logan International Airport currently provides more than 1,300 parking spaces.
