Blink Charging Co. has signed a non-binding agreement with private equity firm Axxeltrova Capital to create a £100 million Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) aimed at expanding EV charging infrastructure across the UK. The investment will support projects under the UK government’s Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) fund.

Blink will supply, install, and operate the chargers through its Blink Network, while Axxeltrova will provide the capital needed to scale deployments. The move aligns with Blink’s strategy to grow through non-dilutive funding and supports national goals for zero-emission transport.

Blink’s European Managing Director, Alex Calnan, said the partnership would accelerate EV charger deployment. Axxeltrova’s Rick Phillips added that the structure ensures reliable, scalable infrastructure delivery.

The collaboration highlights both companies’ commitment to supporting the UK’s EV transition through public-private cooperation.
