Bruce T. LaPree Joins Central Parking System as Vice President - National Accounts

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 15, 2005--Central Parking Corporation (NYSE: CPC) today announced that Bruce T. LaPree has joined the Company as Vice President - National Accounts.

Mr. LaPree will report directly to Emanuel Eads, President and Chief Executive Officer. The hiring of Mr. LaPree to lead the Company's national accounts program fulfills one of the key elements in the Company's strategic plan announced in August of this year. At that time, the Company announced that it intended to target national accounts and other market segments with high growth potential, and that a senior-level executive would be hired to lead the Company's national account program.

Immediately prior to joining Central Parking, Mr. LePree was President of Commercial Asset Recapture Group, L.L.C., which specializes in many facets of the parking industry from ground floor planning though operations. Mr. LaPree worked previously as Director of Transportation and Security Services for Senterra Real Estate Group, L.L.C., where his responsibilities included parking related business development, revenue control technology implementation, design and development, operations oversight, and consulting services. Before joining Senterra, Mr. LaPree operated as an independent consultant, with primary focus on parking operations and technology integrations.

During the development of Minute Maid Park (formerly known as Enron Field), Mr. LaPree was consultant to the Houston Astros and served as the Owners Representative in the development of the downtown Houston parking plan for the opening of the facility. Mr. LaPree was also responsible for a number of other major parking and security projects across the country. Mr. LaPree graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing.
