Caleb W. Brunson - The loss of a leader
Caleb W. Brunson, (Certified Administrator of Public Parking) 73, who served as President of IPI from 1993 to 1995, died from complications of diabetes on Friday, October 22, 2004 at 5:00 a.m.
Brunson, who retired as director of parking at The Ohio State University in Columbus in 1995, had been a member of IPI's Board of Directors for more than a decade and served in every association leadership post.
During Brunson's term as President, he represented IPI in a face-to-face Oval Office meeting with President Bill Clinton during Clinton's efforts to adopt wide-ranging health care reform in the U.S.
Funeral services were pending as of Friday morning. The family has requested that donations be made to the Diabetes Foundation in honor of Caleb W. Brunson.
