CAR-POWERED PERSONAL REMOTE-CONTROLLED PARKING BARRIER

MySpot 200 offers a simple-to-install and maintenance-free solution to the problem of unauthorized cars using assigned parking spaces in office, public and residential buildings. The barrier installs on the roadway surface using adhesive or bolts. Once installed, it is ready to block entry to the space. When the owner approaches the space, a command is sent from a small transmitter similar to a garage door control and the barrier lowers, allowing the car to pass over it. Upon leaving the
space, another transmitted command raises the barrier, blocking unauthorized entry until the owner returns.

Every time the car passes over the barrier (entering or leaving the space), MySpot 200 captures energy from the weight of the car and stores it for future use. The system requires neither wiring nor digging to install, making it a cost-effective
solution to the annoying and frustrating problem of finding one’s parking space occupied.

MySpot can be used for controlled access to Disabled Parking spaces. A special version of the product can be used for coinparking, were the barrier communicates with a central pay meter. The barrier rises after the car enters the space to block the car from leaving the parking space. The barrier will drop to allow exit after the appropriate fee has been paid at the central meter. This automates the enforcement of the collection of parking fees.
