Central Parking Corporation Announces Management Changes
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 5, 2003--Central Parking Corporation (NYSE:CPC) today announced the resignation of William J. Vareschi, Jr. as chief executive officer and vice chairman. The Board named founder and chairman Monroe J. Carell, Jr., as chief executive officer.
Mr. Carell founded Central Parking in 1968 and served as its chief executive officer for over 20 years. Mr. Carell said, "We appreciate the services of Bill Vareschi during the past two years and wish him well in his future endeavors.
