Milestone: Intercom 2.0(00)

Since the first ever delivery of an Intercom 2.0 server solution to a Dutch customer in early May 2009, market interest has been on a constant rise, says product manager Christian Schöpp of Commend International GmbH.
"Those who communicate win. With our generation Intercom 2.0 server series our customers get the fully developed, powerful solution to make sure that where security and communication is concerned, they're definitely among the winners." This is underscored by a reassuring stream of highly positive market feedback. It is especially because of the new possibilities and added value that a growing number of customers decide to raise their equipment to the level of Intercom 2.0: real value that comes from innovations such as the unrivalled audio quality with a extra-high resistence against background noise, or the integrated video capabilities that make for truly visible security.

In a sense, then, the number two is also symbolic, standing for the leap to the next dimension of Intercom solutions and constant further development - innovation to the second power, as it were. "Fortunately we're well stocked up on innovation," says Christian Schöpp with a knowing wink. "The next one is already under way." For this year, that will be innovation number two.
