Traditional Parking Access and Revenue Control Systems (PARCS) are built for high reliability, robustness and long lifecycles. However, they were not originally designed for direct cloud connectivity or the integration of third-party mobility apps.

PARKETPLACE® acts as a neutral middleware layer between existing parking infrastructure, PARCS systems and external mobility apps. The platform forms the connecting element between physical parking technology and digital mobility services and enables interoperability without compromising the reliability of proven systems.

Through a central integration point, operators can make their parking facilities available across multiple digital sales channels independently of the underlying PARCS. Access rules can be configured, external providers prioritized and performance indicators monitored, while full control over access, channels and data remains with the operator.

Invisible to Drivers – Powerful for Operators

From the user’s perspective, PARKETPLACE® remains completely in the background.
Drivers continue to interact exclusively with their preferred app. Entry, exit, payment and parking session management therefore take place entirely within the familiar app environment. No additional user accounts, portals or onboarding processes are required. The mobility apps EasyPark, PayByPhone, My Way and Peuka are currently supported.

The integration of additional mobility apps is technically supported and can be implemented at any time. PARKETPLACE® is designed as an open middleware platform that can be gradually expanded to include additional app partners.

For operators, this creates a continuous digital connection to the mobility ecosystem without having to replace existing PARCS or build multiple parallel app integrations. PARKETPLACE® enables operators to systematically open up new digital sales channels and continuously expand the app ecosystem.

Designed for Real-World Parking Operations

PARKETPLACE® supports multiple operational flows to cover different technical conditions and market requirements:

Automatic flow:
Vehicles are recognized at entry, for example via LPR technology (License Plate Recognition). Barriers open automatically and the parking session is managed entirely via the app.

Manual flow:
Drivers start and end their parking session manually via the app when automatic vehicle recognition is not available.

Ticket takeover:
Parking sessions initiated via the PARCS can be seamlessly transferred to a third-party app without operator intervention.

Reservation:
Users can book parking spaces in advance via their mobility app. Upon arrival, access is automated and payment is processed digitally.

Transparency, Control and Future Readiness

Beyond pure technical integration, PARKETPLACE® provides configuration and reporting functions for operational use and strategic management.
