DESIGNA: Somerset Mall – Flexible Parking for Every User

At Somerset Mall in Cape Town, South Africa, Designa has implemented a parking solution that combines traditional ticketed parking with ticketless access for registered users.

What’s installed on site:

• Designa CONNECT LANE 600 FULL IN/OUT across 2 entry and 2 exit lanes
• 3 Designa CONNECT PAY 500 CASH & CARD pay stations
• Integrated advertising displays at all pay stations
• Designa Contract Parker Module for shopping center staff

A key feature of the project is the integration with admyt. While regular visitors use the ticketed parking system, registered admyt customers can enter and exit without taking a ticket. Admyt LPR cameras recognize the license plate and match it with the customer database, enabling a seamless ticketless parking experience.

The result is a flexible setup that supports different user groups within the same parking environment, from regular visitors to Admyt customers and shopping center staff.
