Driivz to Support Iberdrola | bp pulse EV Charging Network Across Spain and Portugal
Iberdrola | bp pulse has entered into a strategic partnership with Driivz to support the next stage of its EV charging operations in Spain and Portugal. The collaboration will see Driivz provide the software infrastructure for a network of around 2,500 fast and ultra-fast chargers.
The Driivz platform will give Iberdrola | bp pulse real-time visibility across its charging assets, including charger availability, uptime, hardware performance, and charging behavior. By consolidating these insights into one operational layer, the company aims to improve reliability, simplify network management, and support continued growth across multiple locations, customer segments, and hardware suppliers.
Iberdrola | bp pulse serves private EV drivers as well as fleet, retail, hospitality, and workplace charging customers. With the charging market becoming increasingly focused on reliability and utilization, the partnership is intended to strengthen the operator’s ability to manage a large and complex public charging network at scale.
The platform’s API-first architecture and dynamic energy management capabilities will also provide a foundation for future services, including smart charging, coordinated energy use, and vehicle-to-grid functionality.
Driivz, part of Vontier, said the agreement reflects a wider industry shift toward data-driven EV charging operations. As networks expand, operators are placing more emphasis on uptime, automation, and operational intelligence to improve the charging experience and maximize asset performance.
Iberdrola | bp pulse is a 50:50 joint venture between Iberdrola and bp pulse, created to accelerate the rollout of public high-power EV charging infrastructure in Spain and Portugal.
