EnSight Technologies Selected for Parking Guidance System at Straub Medical Center

EnSight Technologies has been selected to provide a comprehensive parking occupancy management, guidance, and License Plate Recognition (LPR) solution for the new Straub Medical Center parking garage in Honolulu, Hawaii. EnSight’s technology is being deployed in partnership with Amano McGann, the project’s Parking Access and Revenue Control Systems (PARCS) provider.

The new 19-level parking structure will serve Straub Medical Center, an affiliate of Hawaii Pacific Health that has been caring for patients across the state since 1921. Once complete, the garage will be a primary arrival point for the medical center’s patients, visitors, physicians, and staff.

At the core of the deployment is EnSight’s vision-based technology, powered by its advanced proprietary software, which guarantees 99% or greater counting accuracy at each camera node. A full-matrix LED monument sign at the garage entrance will communicate real-time space availability, while interior wayfinding signs will guide drivers to open spaces as they move through the structure.

Level-by-level License Plate Recognition will give the facility added visibility into who is parking where, supporting safety, inventory management, and operational efficiency. All data from the system will flow into the EnSightful Portal, EnSight’s cloud-based management platform, giving the Straub team a single dashboard for live occupancy, historical utilization trends, and system health across the garage.
