EYSA Acquires Joinup and Strengthens Its Position as a Comprehensive Mobility Operator
Joinup, a Spanish company founded in 2012, is a B2B multiservice platform specialising in corporate mobility management for more than 1,000 companies across Spain, France, Belgium and Portugal.
EYSA, a leading Spanish mobility technology company, is strengthening its position through the acquisition of Joinup, a key player in corporate mobility. The transaction enhances EYSA’s ability to plan, book, pay for and manage multiple transport options through a single, integrated service.
Founded in 2012 by Elena Peyró and Alberto López and backed by several private investors, Joinup has grown into a B2B multiservice platform specialising in corporate mobility. Through a single app and a proprietary back office, its technology enables companies to manage corporate taxis, event and group transport, parking, EV charging, mileage tracking and carpooling, while centralising invoicing, expense management and journey data.
The acquisition of Joinup marks a further step in EYSA’s strategy to become a mobility orchestrator. Today, EYSA connects infrastructure, regulation, services, operators and users, combining technology, data and operational capabilities to develop scalable solutions across the markets and sectors in which it operates. With this transaction, EYSA extends its proposition to businesses and institutions, promoting multimodal travel and the use of public transport, reducing emissions and helping address urban congestion and city access challenges.
Joinup surpassed 1,000 active clients in 2025, including IBEX 35 companies, multinationals, hospitals, universities and public bodies. It also works with a network of more than 25,000 corporate taxis, provides access to over 2,300 car parks and brings together more than 40,000 EV charging points through its app.
The transaction comes at a time of significant regulatory change, driven by Spain’s new Sustainable Mobility Act and by municipal, national and European regulations aimed at promoting more efficient mobility with a lower environmental impact. The Act strengthens companies’ obligations to adopt sustainable commuting plans and introduces measures covering collective transport, shared mobility, charging infrastructure for low- and zero-emission vehicles, and carbon offsetting.
This new framework gives companies greater opportunities to measure the impact of business travel, optimise journeys and make progress towards their sustainability goals. In this context, more than 85% of Joinup’s fleet is ECO-labelled or electric, while its technology enables companies to track the carbon footprint of every journey and integrate this data into their day-to-day operations.
“Companies increasingly need integrated solutions that enable them to manage employee mobility, control costs, run their fleets, reduce their environmental impact and meet the new obligations set out in the Sustainable Mobility Act. Combining Joinup with EYSA's capabilities allows us to offer a far more complete proposition that brings together corporate mobility, public transport, emissions offsetting, charging and fleet management solutions, with a direct impact on the efficiency and sustainability of their business,” said Javier Delgado, CEO of EYSA.
“Joinup has grown by listening to companies and understanding the needs of people who travel every day. Joining a group like EYSA, with its experience, scale and technological capabilities, broadens our horizons and opens up a new chapter of possibilities. Together, we will be able to grow faster, expand our offering and go further with our clients, while preserving what has brought us this far: the same team, the same level of service and our focus on corporate mobility,” said Elena Peyró, CEO and co-founder of Joinup.
Deloitte and Natixis Partners Iberia acted as advisers to EYSA, while Joinup’s shareholders were advised by DC Advisory on the sale.
