The acquisition complements Tecsidel’s tolling technology with dedicated services in identification, compliance enforcement and revenue collection, strengthening EYSA’s end-to-end offering.

Following the acquisitions of Aluvisa and Joinup, ParkTrade is the Group’s third deal since Tikehau Capital became a core shareholder in August 2025, as part of its strategy of international growth and capability expansion

EYSA, a Spanish group specialising in technology solutions and services for mobility management, has acquired ParkTrade, a Swedish company specialising in the identification, notification and cross-border collection of tolls, infrastructure charges and parking fines, previously part of UK-based Marston Holdings.

The transaction reinforces EYSA’s strategy to establish itself as a leading international operator in end-to-end pay-per-use solutions for mobility infrastructure, combining technology, operational capabilities, compliance enforcement and revenue collection.

Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Stockholm, ParkTrade operates its own technology platform and holds landmark references in the European market. Through EPASS24, it manages the identification, notification and collection of Stockholm and Gothenburg congestion charges for foreign-registered vehicles, while its ParkiaPay solution is used to process payment of parking fines for vehicles registered in other countries in cities such as Amsterdam.

The key strategic value of the deal lies in how well these capabilities complement those EYSA already has through Tecsidel, its subsidiary specialising in tolling systems, which has a long international track record in developing and deploying mission-critical systems for end-to-end toll management. Tecsidel’s offering spans everything from gantries for automatic vehicle detection, identification and classification to operational and commercial back-office platforms, including customer, transaction and payment management.

The addition of ParkTrade completes this technology offering with specialised operational capabilities and proven references in managing collection services, particularly in cross-border environments. EYSA is thus extending to tolling the end-to-end management model it already delivers in cities, where it combines technology, operations, compliance enforcement and revenue collection in solutions such as regulated parking and low emission zone management, bringing together everything needed to ensure regulations are effectively enforced and the corresponding fees and fines are collected.

Javier Delgado, EYSA CEO, said:
“In free-flow tolling, recording a vehicle’s passage is only part of the process. The effectiveness of the system also depends on identifying the user, managing payment and ensuring collection, especially with vehicles from other countries. ParkTrade has proven expertise in this field and top-tier references across Europe. Its addition will allow us to broaden the services we offer our customers, take on greater responsibility in the operation of these systems and pursue new business models.”

Iván Pérez, EYSA Chief Strategy Officer, added:
“The acquisition of ParkTrade allows us to bring to the tolling market the end-to-end pay-per-use model for infrastructure that EYSA has developed and consolidated in urban environments. Combining Tecsidel’s technology with ParkTrade’s operational experience and references in cross-border collection allows us to offer solutions that cover the entire value chain, from detecting and managing transactions or infringements to operations, compliance enforcement and revenue collection. This integration strengthens our competitive position and opens up new growth opportunities.”

This is EYSA’s third acquisition since Tikehau Capital became a core shareholder in August 2025, following Aluvisa, a specialist in intelligent traffic management systems, and Joinup, a corporate mobility platform. All three deals reflect a growth strategy that combines stronger technology and operational capabilities, the addition of specialist teams and expansion into new markets and business models.
