EYSA’s mowiz TRUCK Accelerates Growth and Expects to Exceed 5,000 Secure Truck Parking Spaces
The company, part of EYSA, continues to strengthen its expansion plans with new openings scheduled in the coming months, as Europe faces a structural shortage of secure truck parking facilities.
mowiz TRUCK, EYSA’s specialised operator of safe and secure truck parking facilities, continues to consolidate its growth in Spain through the rapid expansion of its network. The company operates 4,000 parking spaces and expects to exceed 5,000 before the end of 2026, driven by its current pace of openings.
mowiz TRUCK currently operates 20 safe and secure truck parking facilities across the Community of Madrid, the Basque Country, the Valencian Community, Catalonia, Andalusia, and Castile and León. Over the past year, the company has added five new sites and approximately 600 additional parking spaces to its network. It also expects to open three further facilities in the coming months, extending its geographic coverage and enabling operations in new strategic freight transport regions. With this expansion, mowiz TRUCK further strengthens its position as one of Spain’s leading specialised operators of safe and secure truck parks.
This growth responds to one of the major challenges facing the European logistics sector: the shortage of secure and protected rest areas for heavy vehicles. Industry bodies have been warning for years about the structural lack of safe and secure truck parking across Europe, a situation that directly affects cargo security, drivers’ working conditions, and supply chain efficiency.
The strategic location of mowiz TRUCK facilities is one of the network’s defining features. Its sites are positioned along or close to the main freight transport corridors, particularly the Mediterranean and Atlantic corridors, supporting both domestic and international logistics operations while ensuring secure stopping points along high-density freight routes.
mowiz TRUCK’s expansion comes at a time when the European logistics sector faces growing security challenges. Mandatory stops for rest, refuelling, and maintenance continue to be among the most vulnerable points in the logistics chain, increasing the need for infrastructure specifically designed for professional road transport.
In response, the company’s value proposition focuses on providing safe and secure parking solutions for both drivers and cargo. mowiz TRUCK facilities incorporate advanced security measures, including CCTV systems, fenced perimeters, 24/7 surveillance, reinforced lighting, controlled access points, and AI-based preventive security systems.
Its own-operated facilities also hold internationally recognised certifications, including TAPA PSR Level 1 certification — the highest level under the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA EMEA) standard — and ESPORG Gold certification, awarded by the European Secure Parking Organisation (ESPORG).
This international recognition has been further reinforced by the recent award of two European prizes granted by ESPORG to facilities operated by mowiz TRUCK, recognising excellence in both security and sustainability.
Driver Wellbeing and Service Digitalisation
Beyond security, mowiz TRUCK has developed its parking network with a strong focus on professional driver wellbeing. The company is committed to continuously improving its facilities through high cleanliness and maintenance standards, dedicated rest areas, and environments designed to support driver comfort and wellbeing.
In line with this commitment, mowiz TRUCK actively participates in European initiatives linked to professional driver wellbeing. The company has been recognised as a Wellbeing Ambassador under a programme led by the European Commission and ESPORG, promoting awareness and advocacy around rest conditions and driver wellbeing in road transport.
Facilities also offer a range of complementary services designed to improve the user experience, including catering areas, leisure spaces, and additional services for drivers and fleet operators.
The company has also strengthened the digitalisation of its services through a unified platform that enables online bookings, centralised operational management for large fleets, and simplified administrative processes through consolidated monthly invoicing. These tools support logistics planning and help optimise the day-to-day operations of transport companies.
