Fresno Yosemite International Airport Introduces Ticketless Parking with Metropolis
Fresno Yosemite International Airport has partnered with Metropolis to launch a contactless parking system across all public parking facilities, giving travelers a ticket-free way to enter, pay and exit.
The platform is scheduled to go live on July 14, 2026, during a period of continued passenger growth at the airport. More than 2.7 million passengers traveled through Fresno Yosemite International Airport in 2025, increasing demand for efficient services both inside and outside the terminal.
The rollout follows the completion of FATforward, the airport’s most extensive development program to date. The modernization initiative expanded the international arrivals area, added a new concourse and introduced a multi-level parking garage.
Metropolis already has a long-standing connection with the airport through SP+, a Metropolis company that has managed parking operations at the site for several decades. Alongside simplifying the customer journey, the new technology is expected to provide the airport and the City of Fresno with more detailed operational data on parking demand and facility use.
Fresno Yosemite International Airport becomes the largest airport in California to deploy Metropolis’ drive-in, drive-out parking platform. The technology is also in use at several other US airports, including San Antonio International Airport, El Paso International Airport and locations in Hawaii and Sonoma County.
