Get My Parking Introduces a Lightning-Fast Consumer Support Module

Get My Parking introduces a comprehensive Consumer Support module

Smart parking platform provider Get My Parking introduces a comprehensive Consumer Support module designed to help operators provide round-the-clock support to their parkers. The module is a part of the user-friendly centralized admin dashboard that comes with GMP’s smart parking management software, using which operators can control their parking business.

The Consumer Support module is an administrative tool that enables admins or customer service executives to manage users, accounts, sessions, and more. It enables admins to monitor every aspect of a parker’s session, from the second they register on the platform and book a session to when they exit the parking lot and make their payment. The operator can configure the hierarchical access to the Consumer Support module and can grant permissions to specific users in their company. Permissions are configurable, and operators can mix and match features to suit different car parks, allot specific modules, provide read/edit access, etc. These permissions can be modified or revoked on the go, even by admins without much technical knowledge.

The Consumer Support team needs to be able to pull up any and all relevant details about a user and their parking activity when they receive a query, request, or complaint. The Consumer Support module allows admins to complete comprehensive searches quickly so that all the information they need to resolve a consumer’s query is at their fingertips. Our software adheres strictly to GDPR guidelines, making your customer data as safe as possible.

Admins can use a variety of search methods to find the required details. The Consumer Support module allows admins to scour through their list of users using the parker’s Consumer ID, personal details like phone numbers/emails, session ID, car park, area code, or payment reference ID. With just a small piece of information from their customer, admins can filter through tens and thousands of users in their database to find the right profile.

Admins can also view all the details about how the parker accesses their parking lot, from the access method (QR, Reverse QR, BLE, LPR, RFID, etc.) used in each session to their vehicle’s model and make. The admin will also have access to the details of the device through which the parker accessed the operator’s custom-branded consumer app/web app.

Admins can track all sessions by a parker in real-time, as well as all their pending and completed transactions. The dashboard displays transactions that are yet to be completed by the user so that Consumer Support can follow up when there is no response from the parker’s end. Dashboard users can also view the exact amount that the parker paid, parking images at access points, as well as the payment method. The dashboard allows admins to provide refunds as per policies to resolve complaints from users.

The module also displays all the permits and season passes that have been purchased by the parker. If a consumer calls with a request to cancel or pause any of these passes, the admin can easily activate or disable the pass from the parker’s user profile.

The Consumer Support module is a part of Get My Parking’s award-winning IoT platform that digitizes and streamlines parking to maximize the profitability of parking businesses. Check out our complete suite of smart parking solutions!
