Highest Standards in Civil Enforcement to be Recognised

Civil Enforcement News (CEN) will be celebrating the launch of its 2008 Awards at a special event at the Brewery, London on 15 October 2007.
The awards will recognise best practice and innovation in civil enforcement, an industry that is seeing dramatic growth, and covers sectors such as environmental enforcement, parking and debt recovery in the UK.

At the not to be missed launch party, Civil Enforcement News will announce the venue, judges, award categories and entry criteria, to prepare companies and industry stakeholders for the forthcoming awards next year.

Simon OBrien, Editor of Civil Enforcement News commented: With the launch of these awards we can highlight the increasing breadth of services carried out in civil enforcement and the continued growth of the industry. The operators and employees continuously strive to improve public life and raise standards and now is the right time to show our support.

Philips, the largest independent revenue and enforcement services company, is the headline sponsor of the event for the next five years. Discussions are also underway with other sponsors for specific award categories.

Nick Bradley, managing director of Philips said: We are delighted to be sponsoring the Civil Enforcement Awards. As a company, we work long and hard to deliver best practice across every aspect of our business. Equally, we wholeheartedly support and encourage the efforts made by others to achieve higher and better standards. These awards are an important way of publicly recognising best practice within companies and organisations, and of acknowledging their contribution to public services.
