Holiday Extras and Newcastle International Airport Sign Long-Term Deal

Holiday Extras and Newcastle International Airport Partnership

Holiday Extras and Newcastle International Airport have signed a new long-term partnership, providing passengers in the North-East with a range of market-leading airport parking solutions.

The deal includes an extension of Newcastle International Airport’s existing partnership with Chauntry Parkspace – a company that was acquired by Holiday Extras in 2017 - to manage availability across the airport’s parking inventory. The new agreement will also see the launch of two brand new products; Premium Meet & Greet and Premium Fast Track, across Holiday Extras’ sales channels.

As the North-East’s largest air passenger hub, Newcastle International Airport welcomed almost 5.4 million passengers last year. Thanks to its ambitious plans for the future, details of which were shared in its strategic Masterplan for 2035, it hopes to greet many more.

This latest deal with Holiday Extras will support these growth plans. Combining over 36 years of experience, a worldwide network and the latest technology, Holiday Extras’ friendly team helps more than eight million travellers every year enjoy hassle-free trips. From airport parking and lounges to travel insurance and transfers, the Kent-based company offers a wealth of products to support those on the move and it has built a fantastic reputation for doing so.

Matt Paxton, Commercial Director at Holiday Extras, commented:

We’re incredibly pleased to have signed a long-term deal with this very important partner. We’re particularly excited to be supporting the airport’s new Premium Meet & Greet and Premium Fast Track services.

This deal incorporates solutions from two parts of our strategic parking technology portfolio. It’s a fantastic opportunity to build on the relationship we’ve already secured between the airport and both Holiday Extras and Chauntry Parkspace, and we can’t wait to celebrate further successes in the years ahead.”

Dean Ward, Head of Commercial, at Newcastle International Airport, commented:

As we’ve just published our Masterplan for the next 15 years, this is a good time for us to cement some of our most important, long-term commercial relationships. The combination of parking technology and inventory solutions on offer from Holiday Extras is what makes this partnership a success for us, and we look forward to continuing to work together.”
