HTS Release SeeCube Feature

State-Of-The Art and Patented Vehicle Make and Color Recognition Feature Enhances Their LPR Solution

HTS Release SeeCube

Quest Solution, via its HTS division, is proud to announce the introduction of a state-of-the art and patented Vehicle Make and Color Recognition feature called SeeCube (License Plate, Make and Color) now being rolled out as a feature addon to its LPR solution in the parking industry. Using unique computer vision technology and software, the HTS ALPR data can now be processed to include the vehicle’s make and color. The feature was recently successfully deployed in a high-profile Safe City solution in the Middle East, allowing law enforcement agencies to search for and or create BOLO alerts for any suspect vehicle based on knowledge of Make and/or color only.

This happens to all of us at some point. We return to a large parking lot at the end of a long day or after a long business trip or vacation abroad and we panic. We do not recall where we parked our vehicle. We turn to the parking attendant and only have a vague notion of our license plate number.

SeeCube will, amongst many other key benefits, enable the parking attendant to quickly search for and locate vehicles using common and easily identifiers such as Make, and Color, saving the need for a comprehensive search in the Parking lot" – said Sandy Mayer VP Sales and Marketing at Quest HTS.

Adding Make and Color to its LPR solution will enable HTS and its PARCS and Access Control Partners to offer their customers who are unsure about a plate number, the ability to search for vehicles by make and by color along with other provided descriptors. SeeCube will be offered as a subscription-based add-on to the HTS SeeControl.

Shai Lustgarten, CEO of Quest, stated: “We are very proud to now release this patented technology into the parking industry. The ability to provide recognition of car make and color is the result of an intensive effort by our R&D team who continues to invest in the capabilities of our machine vision ALPR technologies. These features were always high priorities for law enforcement and homeland security and are now available for parking operators in the US and throughout the world".
