Impark acquires contracts from Parking Specialists inc. in Toronto, Ontario

The properties transitioned to Imparks operating group on July 1, 2009. Parking Specialists will continue to operate its hotel valet business in Toronto along with two other commercial facilities.

The acquisition, comprised of lease and management accounts, has increased Imparks Toronto portfolio to 133 locations, and reinforces Imparks position as the leading pay parking operator in Toronto. The company serves a diverse client base of commercial, retail and residential property owners, as well as hospitals, airports, hotels and medical buildings.

We are excited to introduce a new group of Toronto clients and parking customers to Impark in the coming weeks, stated Herb Anderson, Imparks President and CEO. This acquisition is part of the companys long term growth strategy to integrate successful parking operations in select Canadian and US markets into Impark.
