IntelliParkTM Receives Order To Install The Companys Advanced Parking Meters in Reading Pennsylvania

The order calls for IntelliPark to deliver the companys patented IntelliMeterTM parking meters that feature tool-free maintenance. The tool-free maintenance feature allows simple maintenance procedures like clearing a coin jam in a fraction of the time required to service traditional meters.

IntelliParks IntelliMeter has the potential to revolutionize the single space parking meter, said Larry Lee, Reading Parking Authority Executive Director. The ability to field upgrade the meters to operate with IntelliParks patented Vehicle Detection Unit (VDU) was a deciding factor in the award. In field tests, the VDU generated an increase in revenue from 20 to 50% over standard single-space meters.
