IP Parking Implements a Ticketless PARCS Solution at Woonplaza A2

We implemented a ticketless PARCS solution at Woonplaza A2 to future-proof the parking facility and improve the shopping experience for visitors. Woonplaza A2 is a busy retail area with 450 parking spaces, where parking capacity has a direct impact on the shopping experience.

The challenge

Previously, parking was completely free at Woonplaza A2 as well as in the surrounding area. After paid street parking was introduced in the immediate vicinity, the undesired use of the parking lot increased sharply. Long-term parkers and employees of nearby companies started using the lot as an alternative to paid parking in the neighborhood. This put pressure on the availability of parking spaces for actual visitors. In order to continue to guarantee sufficient parking for customers and visitors, Woonplaza A2 had to take measures.

The solution

To keep parking spaces available for visitors to Woonplaza, we implemented a ticketless PARCS solution that regulates access without compromising speed and ease of use. With our AI-driven License Plate Recognition cameras, vehicles drive in and out fully automatically, without a ticket. Visitors park for free within the applicable free parking time and can easily checkout at the exit terminal for longer stays. This provides a controlled but smooth parking experience for both visitor and operator. What this means in practice:
