Further applications for WindSpeed inlays are the control of entry and exit gates to automotive services such as toll stations, car rental parks or car washes. WindSpeed inlays are easily attached behind the glass without the need for special mounting material and thus prevent the label from being exposed to harsh weather conditions and manipulation by unauthorized people. The WindSpeed family of inlays offers a wide UHF bandwidth from 868MHz to 915MHz and is based on passive RFID technology. KSWs labels ensure a long reading distance of approximately 5.5 meters at a more reasonable cost compared to the active transponders commonly used.
