Legislators And Governor Discuss City Parking Tax Increase.

State Sen. Sean Logan said the session would involve a mix of city suburban legislators from both parties. Several legislators have criticized the city's higher parking tax, which, on Feb. 1, will go to 50 percent from the current 31 percent. That could increase parking costs for motorists by $10 to $30 a month. The increases would fall heavily on suburbanites who drive to work in the city. State Rep.
