McCain, Inc. Announces Key Appointment to Executive Team

Reza Roozitalab, P.E. named vice president of engineering

McCain Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of intelligent transportation systems, traffic control equipment and parking guidance solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Reza Roozitalab, P.E. to vice president of engineering.

Roozitalab, a licensed engineer, has been with McCain for more than 18 years. Prior to his appointment he led the engineering and applications teams in Vista, CA and Tijuana, Mexico, making his promotion a natural and seamless transition. In his new role, Roozitalab will continue to provide leadership and guidance to the company’s engineering teams, in addition to overseeing the intelligent transportation solutions group and software development.

Roozitalab has 26 years of experience in the transportation industry, and earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University. At McCain, he is largely credited with the successful expansion of the applications engineering department that has effectively designed and customized more than 300 types of traffic cabinets for 170/2070, NEMA TS 1/TS 2, and ITS applications. Throughout his career, Roozitalab has participated in various working groups and standard development committees and is currently on the ITS Cabinet Standard working group.
