METRIC MACHINES WILL RUN OFF STREET POWER IN SPAIN

Two further countries have been added to Metric Parkings growing export achievements so far this year.
metric.gifThe newcomers are Spain and Tanzania who have both ordered Metric’s S2 pay and display machines – Spain choosing mains power while the machines going into Tanzania will be solar powered.

“These are both new major overseas contracts for Metric”, said Mike Hewitt, export sales manager.

“Whilst the requirements of the two countries are different, they will still be looking for full support and back-up to ensure the S2 machines fulfil their needs”.

Tanzania will have a total of 200 Metric S2 solar powered machines for their capital city Dar-es-Salaam. The first 50 on-street machines have been ordered and will be installed next month.

The Spanish order is for 42 S2 mains time machines which will run off street light power and will also have batteries as back-up.
