Metric say the Aura is 'bursting' with state-of-the¬art technology, whieh includes, as standard, an advanced electronie locking system which the company says should reset standards and 'more than satisfy' any customer's security concerns.
Communication options now include GSM, GPRS, GPS, and WiFi. The machine is fully RoHS compliant (Removal of Hazardous Substances) and has also been approved by the BCODP (British Council of Disabled People) with re gard to Part III of the DDA regulations. The Metrie Aslan back office software is fully compatible with the new machine.
Another interesting development option for the Aura which was launched recenUy in the USA is the new and advanced Metric "Bay" parking system whieh utilises the parent company's "Skeye Pad" to assist enforcement by advising when parking time has expired.
