MobiliSis unveiled PARKOM at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2016

MobiliSis unveiled PARKOM, its latest parking solution at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2016. PARKOM is a wireless on-street parking solution that uses underground cables to fully unify three systems into one.

With PARKOM, the users, parking enforcement and operators are all connected into one system solving the problem of on-street parking having multiple systems. This unity allows for real time management and control of the area as well as providing automated methods and systems in parking spaces.

PARKOM works in the following way:

Below the ground, cables are installed which provide information of availability, identifying the user of the parking spot and managing the parking session via the host. When a user needs to park, the app advices where an available parking spot is. Once parked, the system manages the time and costs and the user receives a detailed invoice at the end of the month.

PARKOM eases the work of parking enforcement because it automatically notifies authorities if a car is violating the regulation. This way, authorities focus on the violators rather than on every parked car. In addition, PARKOM also makes changes in parking regulations a smoother experience for everyone. The operator simply inputs the changes into the system and the app will guide the user to the appropriate spot. This reduces the guess work for users as well as cutting costs in innocent fines and parking signalling.
