Monogram Energy Inc.'s/Marquis Tech Holdings' Releases Detail on its 21st Century For-Profit Parking System

Monogram Energy, Inc. aka Marquis Tech Holdings, Inc. releases details on its for profit parking system for Georgetown. The Company recently announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Astrolobe Technology has signed a major 25 year contract with the City of Georgetown in Guyana, South America to be the sole provider of a comprehensive for-profit parking system.
Under terms of the contract the Company will build a for-profit parking system for downtown Georgetown which will include both on and off street parking. The company is in the process of mapping out the spaces which will be included in the system.

The Company says it will not be following the traditional model of installing individual physical parking meters or multi-space meters and will instead build a 21st century software based parking system which it says will be far less expensive and easier to maintain and operate. Currently under design, the software based system will utilize the existing cell phone network in the area and will be dubbed Park-by-Phone. Park-by-Phone will be an online system that allows drivers to pay for parking in designated lots or metered stalls by making a quick telephone call, or sending a quick text message, entering the license plate number of the vehicle the motorist is driving. The system will be designed to automatically deduct payment from the cell phone account. All transactions will be backed up to a database where enforcement agents can search license plates for any payment information via their handheld.

The Company CEO noted that Guyana for the most part is a prepaid country. Most drivers in Georgetown have cell phones and the majority of those cell phones are prepaid. People are accustomed to transferring money from one persons phone to another. The two largest cell phone providers in the area (GTT & Digicel) have designed their billing systems to facilitate the transferring of this money. The Company has already initiated discussions with these cell phone providers and is in the process of determining the most efficient way to integrate the Park-by-Phone system to work with their existing credit transfer infrastructure.

As a back-up, the Company will also implement a Scratch Card system. This payment technology is a system that will utilize a scratch card for the payment of parking. These cards will be distributed via a retail system currently being used by the phone companies. Motorists will be able to purchase parking scratch cards and scratch off the date and time they would like to park and place on front windscreen visible to parking agents.

Once the Company has completed mapping out the spaces, it will be releasing revenue projections on the system.
