Exciting project in Copenhagen: Marmormolen

Together with its long-standing partner Dräger, MSR-Traffic has equipped a further multi-storey car park with a single-space detection system.

Under the project name Marmormolen, hardware and software were delivered to Dräger, which then installed and commissioned them for the customer, By&Havn, on site at the docks in Copenhagen.   

Like By&Havn’s other projects, emphasis was placed on environmental friendliness and efficiency for the new multi-storey car park on the Marmormolen pier: with the aid of ultrasonic sensors with integrated status LEDs above each individual parking spot and several LED displays inside the aisles, all visitors can be guided from the entrance directly to the next free parking spot.

       
This not only facilitates searching and reduces traffic in the multi-storey car park, it also saves valuable time and ventilation costs. The web-based software ‘ParkGard Control Center’ from MSR-Traffic also enables the real-time visualisation of the degree of occupancy and partial extents of utilisation, as well as generating evaluations and statistics or detecting misuse for long-term parking.
