MSR-Traffic GmbH: Harald Schmitt named new General Manager

The company wants to expand its position internationally

MSR-Traffic’s new GM Harald Schmitt

Being MSR-Traffic’s new GM Harald Schmitt now accounts for all national and international activities of the company. He succeeds his father Wolfgang Schmitt, who is in charge of large-scale projects from now on.

By appointing Harald Schmitt to be GM the Lower Bavarian family business is rejuvenating its leadership - at the same time MSR-Traffic wants to strengthen its position as a provider of parking guidance systems.

The new business strategy, says Harald Schmitt, focusses on three product lines:

Magnetic field sensors for outdoor parking areas, ultrasonic sensors for indoor parking areas and innovative dynamic LED displays.

“The combination and advancement of these technologies enable us to contrast strongly with our competitors. Our target is to alleviate the search for parking spaces in cities and parking garages to help reduce CO2 emissions and go easy on car drivers’ resources.

Innovative dynamic parking guidance systems enhance the quality of everyday life and offer a high surplus value to parking garage operators, shopping mall owners and cities.”

Now it is important to build up sales in interesting countries and generate growth.
