New Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Central Parking System

Central Parking System, Inc. has appointed John I. Hill to serve as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
Mr. Hill comes to Central Parking from Advance America, Inc., a publicly traded consumer finance company, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the past five years. Prior to joining Advance, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Diversco Holdings, Inc., a private holding company that acquired four outsourcing and temporary staffing companies. Mr. Hill began his career as an auditor with KPMG Peat Marwick. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he earned a B.S. degree in Accounting in 1977 and an MBA in 1979. Mr. Hill is a certified public accountant.

We are excited to have John Hill join our senior management team, said Emanuel J. Eads, President and Chief Executive Officer. John brings to the company a wealth of experience and strong leadership skills. While with Advance America, John successfully led the companys $300 million initial public offering and achieved Sarbanes Oxley compliance within one year of going public. As the chief financial officer of Diversco Holdings, John led the successful integration of four separate businesses. We look forward to his contributions to Central Parking.

Mr. Hills appointment follows the resignation of V. Jeffrey Heavrin, who has served as the Companys Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since May 2005. We appreciate Jeffs hard work and dedication to the company over the past five years as both controller and chief financial officer, said Eads. Jeff played a key role in improving the companys accounting function and controls, and in the recent sale of the company. Jeff informed me of his decision to leave the company shortly after completion of the sale process. We appreciate his willingness to remain with the company while we conducted the search for his successor and work with John Hill to ensure a smooth transition. We wish Jeff the best in his future endeavors.
