Paradox Engineering: Over 99% Vehicle Detection Accuracy

The solution is based on Smart Parking Sensors that represent the simplest, cost-effective and reliable way to detect if a parking space is occupied by a vehicle.

New Smart Parking solution by Paradox Engineering and MinebeaMitsumi allows cities and parking operators to remotely monitor parking facilities and take advantage of a full range of parking-related data, such as the number of available lots in a specific area, the duration of each parking and possible abuses.

The solution is based on Smart Parking Sensors that represent the simplest, cost-effective and reliable way to detect if a parking space is occupied by a vehicle. Two types of sensors – Above and Under ground – are available for off-street and on-street car parking, multi-storey parks, and electric vehicles charging stations. Both support 6LoWPAN, grant over 99% detection accuracy, can stand harsh weather conditions and have a battery lasting up to 10 years.

Smart Repeaters and Smart Gateways enable data collection, while Smart CMS is the open software management platform to control the Smart Parking application and all connected devices through an intuitive, customizable web interface.

Live demos of the Smart Parking solution – and the Smart Truck Parking version – are offered at Smart City Expo World Congress 2023, the leading international event on cities and smart technologies taking place in Barcelona, Spain, from November 7th to 9th.

Cities, public services operators, and parking-related businesses are welcome to visit Paradox Engineering and MinebeaMitsumi at booth C81 in Hall 2 to learn more about smart urban networks and turnkey Internet of Things solutions for Smart Parking, Smart Lighting, Smart Waste, and Smart Environment.
