Paragon ID appoints Konstantinos Lagios as Chief Executive Officer

Paragon ID has announced the appointment of Konstantinos Lagios as Chief Executive Officer, following a planned leadership transition.

Konstantinos succeeds John Rogers, who will return to Grenadier Holdings as Executive Director after leading Paragon ID through an important period in its development, including its successful transition to private ownership.

Through a portfolio of smart identification and contactless technologies, including RFID, IoT, NFC and SaaS solutions, the company delivers innovative solutions across its Transport & Smart Cities, Track & Trace, e-ID, and Payment activities, supporting increasingly intelligent and automated environments.

Since becoming wholly owned by Grenadier Holdings in 2023, Paragon ID has continued to build on its strong market position by investing in innovation, strengthening operational excellence, and expanding its international business.

Konstantinos has played a central role in that journey. Having joined Paragon ID in 2018 as Chief Commercial Officer, he has been a driving force in shaping the company's commercial strategy, strengthening customer relationships, and accelerating growth across the business.

He brings almost three decades of international leadership experience within the secure technologies and identification sector. Prior to joining Paragon ID, Konstantinos spent 17 years in senior leadership roles at AUSTRIACARD Group (now AUSTRIACARD Holdings). He holds an MBA from Strathclyde Business School.

Konstantinos Lagios is an exceptional leader who combines deep industry knowledge with a clear strategic vision and a strong understanding of our business, our customers, and our people. Since joining Paragon ID, he has made a significant contribution to the company's growth and development, and the Board is confident he is the right person to lead the business through its next chapter.
