Paragon ID Celebrates Two Years in Australasia with Continued Expansion

Paragon ID continues to invest in its operations across Australasia with the appointment of John Barbounis as Head of Sales in the APAC region.

This coincides with the second anniversary of having a presence across Australia, New Zealand, and the wider Pacific region. Over the last two years, Paragon ID has significantly expanded its operations within the APAC region across its various product offerings with clients based in Australia, New Zealand, and the wider Pacific nations in addition to working with various partners across Asia Pacific.

With 30 years of executive experience working across all areas of the card manufacturing sector in various industries including retail, financial, government, aviation and travel, John’s expert industry knowledge will be of great benefit to customers.

In his role as Head of Sales across the APAC region, John will be supporting the APAC Regional General Manager, Steve Andrinos in promoting the various products and services offered by Paragon ID including secure ID, airline baggage tags, transit, mobile and parking ticket solutions to customers within the APAC region.

Commenting on his appointment, John Barbounis said:

In addition to promoting Paragon ID’s product offering within the APAC region, John and Steve are also responsible for business development across Paragon ID’s subsidiaries, Thames Technology and RFiD Discovery.

Thames Technology is able to provide its complete range of financial, loyalty and gift card solutions as well as its wide range of digital printing, creative design, and fulfilment services to clients within the APAC region.

In addition, RFiD Discovery offers its full range of asset and people tracking solutions for a variety of sectors including healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, retail, aviation, and managed services.
