Parcxmart(tm) Announces Parking Validation Service for Municipal and Private Parking Operators

Parcxmart(tm), an electronic payments company, is developing parking validation software for its smartcard portfolio.
The software application allows participating merchants to load parking validation dollars directly onto the Parcxmart city cards. The back-end of the Parcxmart payment system then credits the merchant based upon the economics of the city/town validation program, or the garage operators' customer loyalty scheme. Merchants can also load additional value on the cards in $1 increments for their frequent or high value customers with or without a parking entity being involved in the validation scheme.

"This type of loyalty program built around an instant parking validation capability has been very difficult to manage in the past especially where on-street parking meters have been involved," said John Regan, President and CEO of Parcxmart Technologies. "We look forward to offering this as a new service to city governments and garage operators nationally. Our unique ability to provide an audit trail to all the parties in the local parking validation scheme -- merchants, cities, and/or parking operators -- while also including on-street parking meters and garages in the program is well timed due to ongoing rate increases, merchants seeking cost-effective loyalty programs in the midst of tough economic times, and city and town governments looking to move ahead with local development initiatives which will provide solutions and new opportunities for parking and the local merchant network."
