Park Assist Chosen to Elevate Parking at Saint Louis University Hospital

Park Assist® has been selected by Alberici Healthcare and SSM Health to install its M4 and S1 Parking Guidance Systems (PGS) at Saint Louis University Hospital’s new medical campus. This new healthcare facility is an 800,000-square-foot hospital and outpatient care center built to incorporate patient-centered design while providing exceptional care and improving the patient experience. The addition of Park Assist’s M4 PGS, wayfinding signage, and S1 Outdoor Surface Lot System will help support this same initiative by creating a positive parking experience and removing any extra stress from the patient’s visit.

Park Assist’s exterior digital signage starts the visitor’s seamless journey – from entry to finding an open space, they are guided in the right direction. The signage indicates which areas of the facility have available parking spaces. From there, Park Assist’s camera-based M4 smart-sensor system, installed at the indoor garage, will specify which spaces are open by using red and green lights to signal whether spots are occupied or vacant. This will decrease traffic congestion and reduce the amount of time busy patients and visitors spend searching for parking.

Additionally, Park Assist’s easily installed S1 system will be utilized for rooftop spaces in the parking garage and the nearby surface lot. This outdoor solution is designed using the same proprietary smart-sensing technology as Park Assist’s M4 PGS. The installation includes a high-perched camera with an omniscient view giving it the ability to monitor all parking spaces. It provides both guidance and sitewide security to ensure all parkers have a simple and safe experience.

Partnering with Alberici Construction’s healthcare division, the installation is well underway and the site is slated to go live by August.
