parkbytext™ extends their cashless service to 16 new sites in Houston, Texas

18th December 2014: parkbytext™, the leading mobile parking operator hailing from Dublin, Ireland, has rolled out their cashless service to a further 16 parking lots in Downtown Houston, Texas. This bring the total number of parkbytext™ US locations to 35.

parkbytext™ have partnered with LAZ Parking in the US to provide the convenience of cashless parking payments to Houston customers. Payment types vary between: app; interactive voice recognition; parkbytext™ Call Centre; SMS; and of course online via The most popular method of payment to date has been the parkbytext™ app, which accounts for 56% of transactions. Following this is: the Call Centre at 18%; interactive voice recognition (IVR) at 15%; online bookings accounting for 8% and text making up the remainder at 3%.
