Voted one of ‘The Best Travel Apps of 2018’ by PCMag.com, FLIO works together with partners to improve passengers’ airport experience through mobile.
The newly agreed technology partnership will allow FLIO’s app users to access ParkCloud’s extensive inventory of 205 global airport parking locations, enabling customers to pre-book their parking prior to departure.
Mobile customers will be able to search, browse and choose from a varied selection of airport parking products, from meet and greet to park and ride.
ParkCloud’s Ancillary Revenue Manager, Elysia Fryer, said: “Creating strategic collaborations that complement our primary service offering supports our overall vision to help customers maximize their travel plans in the simplest and most efficient way possible.
“FLIO mirrors our ambitions to continually work towards improving the digitalization of the travel process for passengers, creating a perfect synergy for a successful partnership.”
Further enhancing the digital travel experience for passengers looking to park up at the airport, integrating with ParkCloud will now enable FLIO to cover the entire passenger journey – from arriving at the airport, to departing the destination airport.
In addition to offering a range of pre-bookable parking options, FLIO provides its users with flight tracking services, vouchers for airport restaurants and shops, maps, weather forecasts and all general airport information a passenger may need for a smooth, trouble-free airport experience.
FLIO’s COO, Tom Reiter, commented: “As the must-have app for travelers, it’s vital for us here at FLIO to continue to push the boundaries of customers’ expectations, which is why it’s great to be on board with companies like ParkCloud, that realize the potential of digital travel progression.”
FLIO is available to download for free via the App Store and Google Play.
ParkCloud, simply put, lets drivers book a parking space in advance, in the same way as it’s possible to do with hotel rooms, restaurant tables…and even a coffee these days.
When traveling, parking is usually the last thing on anybody’s mind, but research shows that as much as 20 minutes is wasted when searching for a parking space. ParkCloud aims to solve that problem by letting customers make a parking booking, whether they are getting on a plane, taking a cruise, catching a train, or visiting a city or event.
ParkCloud was founded in 2008 as an online parking reservation service and within the 10 years, we’ve been operating our success and growth has been rapid.
Today we are an award-winning, global provider, working with car park operators across 42 countries to include them on our comparison search engine, which aims to give consumers the most user-friendly, efficient service possible when they need it most.
This bookable parking network is also made available to travel industry partners to help complete the itineraries of passengers worldwide.
