Parkeon launches Strada Rapide Pay & Display

Known as the Strada Rapide, it features an ergonomically-designed exchangeable coin box to make cash collection procedures as fast and uncomplicated as possible. With Health & Safety issues in mind, the coin box is positioned to make its lifting and withdrawal a safe and easy procedure. Before removing the box, collectors can anticipate its weight - a manageable 25kg when full - as the receptacle is supported by the opened vault door – which is at the optimum height, so staff do not have to bend.

Power consumption management has been optimised on the solar-powered Strada Rapide to increase further its daily ticket-issuing capability, making this environmentally-friendly variant a viable proposition in more heavily-used parking facilities.

Unparalleled security is also a feature with special materials incorporated to further enhance resistance against attacks. A highly secure electronic locking mechanism is fully-shielded inside the vault.

Parkeon will also be demonstrating Parkfolio®.com: the latest addition to its PC-based centralised P&D management system. The module enables managers to view - via a password-protected website - customised and confidential reports in real-time. The information relates to the financial performance of their parking terminals, as well as providing a log of warnings, alarms and service calls . The highly user-friendly service eliminates the need for any specific skills, allowing operators to focus on their parking data, whilst data management is handled by Parkeon. The reports may also to be printed or saved to disk.
