Parking firm changes name

Pro Park LLC, a private parking manager and operator based in Buffalo, is changing its name toAllpro Parking LLC, the company has announced in a news release.

The name change was inspired by the company's growth through local and regional acquisitions made over the past year.

Central_Parking_Corp.jpgThe company recently acquired 16 lots and three parking ramps from Central Parking System Inc., increasing the size of its footprint in Buffalo.

The company wants to market itself as a regional parking management operator, the release said.

In Rochester, Allpro has three lots and two ramps totaling 3,520 spaces.

B&L suspends some sales

Bausch & Lomb Inc. has voluntarily suspended sales of its ReNu lens care solution in the Asian city-state of Singapore because of a spike in cases of a type of eye infection.

Singapore's Ministry of Health recently identified at least 39 incidents of fungal corneal infections among contact lens users and at least 34 of those users said they used B&L's ReNu lens solution brand, the Health Ministry said.

B&L defended its products. "It's important to note that there is no scientific evidence that ReNu lens care solution, the market-leading lens care product in Singapore, caused or is related to this outbreak," the company said in a statement.
