13: Unlucky for Some, But Not For Attendees of the Airport Parking Network Event!

Parking Professionals Gather in Madrid for the 13th Edition of the Airport Parking Network Event

- Madrid, Spain
The exclusive networking dinner was the perfect opportunity for informal networking.

After a welcome return to an in-person event, following two years of disruption due to Covid-19, another successful edition of the Airport Parking Network Event (APNE) has drawn to a close. For its 13th edition, parking professionals gathered from around the globe in Madrid, with more than 200 airports represented and over 25 parking solution providers in attendance for the three-day event.

The packed agenda featured open discussions, interactive workshops, an exclusive networking dinner, and an airport parking facility tour. We kicked things off with an open floor discussion about the recovery of the airport parking industry, giving attendees the opportunity to share their experiences of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Next up, special guest speaker and former Digital Director at FC Barcelona, Enric Llopert, took to the stage to share his expertise on digitalization, marketing, and branding. Following talks from Aena, the world’s leading airport management company, and Jorrit Weerman, our very own CEO attendees launched into their personalized agendas.

Open discussions focused on six key topics: e-commerce, staff parking, capacity management, dynamic pricing, EV charging, and parking technology innovations. Whilst interactive workshops led by industry solution providers covered a range of topics, including the power of data, leveraging parking apps, elevating the customer experience, and connecting the dots from curbside to airside.

After a busy day of interactive sessions and networking, attendees let down their hair at the exclusive networking dinner. Attendees were treated to two Michelin-star dining, live music, and a caricaturist all with the opulent backdrop of the Royal Casino de Madrid.

We would like to thank all the airport parking managers and industry representatives for helping us to make this event a great success! After a couple of years away it was fantastic to see faces, old and new, in person once again. And we look forward to welcoming you next year – the time and location will be confirmed shortly.
