The Parking Network Start-Up Stage Introduces 8 Rising Stars

Keen to park the idea that our industry is outdated and instead embrace our thriving start-up ecosystem and culture of innovation, Parking Network hosted the Start-Up Stage at the 20^th Edition EPA Congress and Exhibition.

In celebration of the industry’s strength and vitality, we welcomed eight parking and mobility newcomers to showcase their cutting-edge technology and solutions. Handpicked from the forefront of our industry, these rising stars and entrepreneurs presented a range of creative solutions for mobility, EV charging, and much more.

This eclectic mix of small, tech-focused start-ups delivered engaging and informative 10-minute pitches, followed by lively 5-minute Q&As, giving attendees the opportunity to truly uncover this pool of new talent and the disruptive technologies that they have to offer.

Our eight start-ups were: Seety, Wattif EV, Meep, ParkCash, reev, LetMePark, upandbike and GO TO-U. Here’s a sneak peek at the solutions that were showcased:

• Voice-powered parking for connected cars
• Next-generation office parking management
• Hardware agnostic EV charging, reservation, and marketing software
• Elevated and automated bike parking carousels
• Sustainable urban mobility app
• Unique EV charging business models
• A plug-and-play EV charging “brain”
• Innovative app-based parking planning tool

The pioneering solutions presented by our chosen start-ups were diverse, but they all shared a common goal – to overcome challenges within our sprawling parking and mobility industry. But there could be only one winner! Following the presentations, a panel of judges, including Jorrit Weerman, CEO of Parking Network and Giuliano Mingardo, Researcher at Erasmus University Rotterdam, evaluated the pitches and selected a winner – GO TO-U. They were impressed by both the presentation from Co-Founder and COO, Lyubov Artemenko, and the unique EV charging reservation solution offered by GO TO-U.

Whilst only one start-up could be crowned the winner it was fantastic to hear from some of the rising stars of the industry and showcase their solutions to key decision-makers in the European parking arena.
