ParkMobile, the leading provider of smart parking and mobility solutions in North America and part of EasyPark Group, is partnering with the Village of Sleepy Hollow to modernize its parking payment system. Now, residents and visitors can use ParkMobile’s digital payment solution to pay for parking at 743 on-street and off-street parking spaces throughout the city.
“ParkMobile is on a mission to make cities more livable by creating more efficient parking and mobility ecosystems across the country. We’re thrilled to work alongside Sleepy Hollow to do so there,” said David Hoyt, Managing Director of ParkMobile. “Our solution allows users to easily pay for parking right from their mobile device, creating a seamless travel experience and eliminating the stress of finding and paying for parking.”
ParkMobile has a strong presence in New York, with over 3 million users across the state. The app is available for both iPhone and Android devices, and can be accessed on a mobile web browser. To pay for parking using the mobile or web app, a user enters the zone number posted on signs around the parking spot, selects the amount of time needed and touches the “Start Parking” button to begin the session.
“The Village of Sleepy Hollow is excited to partner with ParkMobile to make parking easier for residents and visitors. Digital payments will help take the fright out of paying for parking. Now, the only scary thing that people will associate with our village is the Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” said Village of Sleepy Hollow Mayor Martin Rutyna.
