ParkMundo and SMSParking Simplify Airport Parking for Business Travellers

ParkMundo has partnered with SMSParking to make airport parking easier to manage for business travellers and their employers. Through the collaboration, users of the SMSParking Card can now book airport parking through ParkMundo and have the transaction included directly on their company's SMSParking invoice.

The partnership extends the existing SMSParking business parking solution to airport parking, allowing employees travelling by air to arrange their parking in advance without having to pay privately and submit a separate expense claim afterwards.

Bringing Airport Parking Into the Business Parking Journey

For many companies, parking is already a regular part of employee mobility, whether for commuting, customer visits or business meetings. Airport parking, however, is often handled separately as a travel expense.

Through the partnership with ParkMundo, SMSParking users can now include airport parking within the same payment and invoicing process they already use for other business parking transactions.

Business travellers can select their departure airport and travel dates on ParkMundo and compare available parking options based on factors such as price, location, customer reviews and service type. Depending on the airport, this can include shuttle parking, valet parking and locations within walking distance of the terminal.

Once a parking option has been selected, the reservation can be paid for using the SMSParking Card. The transaction is then processed through SMSParking and included on the company's monthly invoice alongside its other parking expenses.

Extending an Existing Business Parking Solution

SMSParking already provides businesses with a way to manage parking expenses across employees and vehicles through one central account and monthly invoice.

Its services cover street and garage parking, while the SMSParking Card further extends this coverage to hundreds of parking garages in the Netherlands and can also be used for parking and toll payments across Europe.

By adding ParkMundo airport parking reservations to this ecosystem, the partnership extends that approach to another common part of business travel.

For employees, this means they can arrange airport parking without using a personal payment method and reclaiming the expense afterwards. For employers, the transaction can remain within an existing parking administration and billing process.

At the same time, travellers retain the flexibility to compare different airport parking providers and select the option that best fits their trip.
