ParkVia, one of the world’s largest parking comparison services, has secured a new deal with Southampton Airport. The collaboration will see the regional airport’s parking products served on parkvia.com and through other sites in the ParkVia network including British Airways.
The airport is expected to grow rapidly in the next few years thanks to its partnership status in the £2bn Solent Freeport project and it joins fellow AGS Airports Aberdeen and Glasgow as partners of ParkVia.
John McConnell, Group Head of Property, Surface Access and Digital of AGS Airports said of the collaboration: “Southampton Airport look forward to working with a dynamic and strong partner in ParkVia to help grow our businesses together.”
Speaking about the partnership, Ilaria Vacca, ParkVia’s Head of Strategic Accounts, said: “Southampton Airport is one of the most exciting airports in the UK to work with right now. I am very excited to demonstrate, for a third time, that our combination of loyal users on parkvia.com and integrations with other travel partners, can drive incremental bookings to an AGS Airports partner.”
The collaboration went live early Sept 2021 with airport parking at Southampton Airport being available on parkvia.com.
As Europe’s favorite airport parking retailer, ParkVia is dedicated to connecting the world’s drivers with parking spaces in 44 countries. Its online retail platform allows consumers to book parking as part of their journey, working with both car park operators and travel industry market leaders to ensure that parking is visible at the right time.
Encouraging its philosophy of ‘Choose parking’, ParkVia believes pre-booking is the key element in the travel process, allowing customers to plan in advance and giving them freedom of choice to select the parking product that suits their specific journey type.
Founded in 2008, ParkVia has grown in popularity and reputation over the last 12 years, particularly within the wider airport parking sector. As an established partner for many of the world’s leading international airports, ParkVia is able to maximize visibility for official car parks and ancillary products by covering more points of entry with its targeted marketing expertise.
Today the services of over 2,000 parking providers are promoted to ParkVia’s 4m registered users, as well as a large network of partner websites, that includes airlines, travel partners, online travel agents, and in-car navigation technology - making it an attractive and lucrative proposition for partners looking to collaborate for white label and in-path projects.
